Wes Johnson is an actor who has appeared in such films as John Waters' A Dirty Shame, Chris Rock's Head of State, and the upcoming Nicole Kidman thriller The Visiting. He also appeared in For Richer or Poorer, Hearts in Atlantis, and the indy short Ted's 12.

Wes, who was the comedy co-host to the late Wolfman Jack on his last nationally syndicated radio program has spent many years in comedy troupes such as Fresh Victims, Gross National Product and The Loyal Opposition. His comic strip Martini 'N Clyde was a daily feature in The Washington Times, and his Joe Fan strip appears in Sports Fan Magazine.

Wes' television appearances include HBO's The Wire (TV series), Homicide: Life on the Street, and America's Most Wanted. He played himself in the Space Ghost Coast to Coast episode "Surprise."

Wes' voice has appeared in cartoons, commercials and video games, including the popular Elder Scroll series of Morrowind and Oblivion, where he played such characters as Lucien Lachance, the Grey Fox, the Arena Announcer, The Prophet and Sheogorath (in the Shivering Isles expansion), as well as the generic voice for all the Imperial males. Recently, Wes lent his voice to the new Star Trek: Legacy game, which will feature the voices of all five original TV Captains.

Wes is the P.A. Announcer for the Washington Capitals.

Wes makes regular appearances on "Broadminded" on XM 155, and also appears weekly with Shari Elliker to review movies on "The Chip Franklin Show" on WBAL in Baltimore.

Wes is happily married to his childhood sweetheart Kim Barrett Johnson, with whom he shares three boys.
