Viva S Club

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Viva S Club was the fourth and final TV series filmed by pop group S Club. It was shown on British children's strand CBBC. This was the only S Club series not shot on American soil, it was instead filmed in Barcelona, Spain. It takes place after the events in Hollywood 7 in which the band has become popular in the States, but not so much internationally. Band member Paul Cattermole only featured within four episodes and he left the band in episode 4 entitled Goodbye Is The Hardest Word, the remainder of the series featured the events of the remaining band members simply redubed S Club. In real life, Paul's last concert with S Club 7 was at the Queen's Jubilee in 2002. The Final episode entitled We've Got to Get Out of Here somewhat made fun of the way their series ended, the plot of the finale centered around Tina and a recent break up with a boyfriend who's dad happens to be a Mafioso leader, in the midst of that the band reminisce over the past few years, in the end they thought they were heading to Egypt before Jo O'Meara pilots the boat back to the UK. There is one post series event, a movie entitled Seeing Double, the film tanked in the U.K.

Brad comes over all romantic and falls for a major brainiac. The only problem is, he's not much of a poet so he recruits Jon to pen slushy letters and rhymes on his behalf. Jon gets really into his new role and keeps sending the letters even when Brad's relationship has fizzled out. Meanwhile, the rest of the band have got the opposite problem; they're suffering from a serious case of writers block...

Hannah gets a monster shock when Paul 'fesses that he's decided to leave the band. Not only that, he wants Han to help him break the bad news to the others! Wah! The band totally freak at Paul's announcement and try to persuade him to stay but his min's made up. Get your hankies ready - this episode's a major weepie.

And that's when the guys discover that Paul has one more surprise up his sleeve for them...

S Club sing: Do It 'Till We Drop

Lyall is set on getting S Club's latest demo played by cult radio personality, El Porco. But the greedy DJ is only interested in one thing - stuffing his face at Lyall's expense! Have the guys blown their big chance?

S Club sing: Gangsta Love

Jon surprises the band by announcing he's Spanish after discovering the existence of his long-lost relative and national hero, Don Edouardo Crespo de la Mancha Lee. And he's not doing things by halves - Jon embraces the Spanish lifestyle by insisting on eating late, kipping through the afternoon and going out to party at 2 in the morning! And that's not all the band have to put up with - they've got to cheer up a broken-hearted Maria too...

S Club sing: Never Had A Dream Come True

Otherwise known as the Lurve episode! Lyall turns into a hopeless case who spends his days gazing at a local waitress and Jo becomes more than just friends with a waaay gorgeous local footballer. S Club sing: Let Me Sleep

The future of the club is threatened when the band discover they've got mice - just before the food inspector turns up! And that's not the end of their problems, 'cause when he finds out the band are planning a gig at the club, he tells them they don't have the right license to play live. In fact, if they perform, it'll be illegal! In desperation, Rach takes him on a date to try and win him round - but can she pull it off?

S Club sing: Dance

Uh-oh! Having hit the road to showcase their new tracks, the band get seriously lost in the middle of nowhere. And we mean nowhere! So it's not good news when their tour bus is pinched and the 6 are left to survive on just their wits and the contents of Tina's handbag! Jon and Jo undergo an amazing transformation to become Tarzan and Jane while the rest of the guys plan how to fight off the wild animals. Yikes!

S Club sing: Hey Kitty Kitty

With just 24 minutes to go before the club hit the stage for a huge open-air concert, Rach realizes she's committed a terrible crime - she's forgotten Tina's birthday! That means a mad dash to try and find a pressie, while Hannah is desperately searching for something quite different - a ladies' loo that isn't out of order! Warning: it may all sound like fun and games but this episodes finale is an absolute must-see!

S Club sing: Alive

With all the band feeling pretty homesick, they're happy to make a run for it to escape Tina's ex-boyfriend. He just won't take no for an answer and his Dad's even worse - he wants them to get married! After an amazing chase the 6 reach Barcelona's docks and jump on a ship leaving for England.
