Type 92 Combat Cars

Type 92 Combat Car was a light tank for cavalry, called Jyu-Sokosha (Heavy Armored Car). When it entered service in 1932, the Type 92 was used for reconnaisance purposes by cavalry units. The Type 92 had a crew of 3 men and a weight of 3.5 tons, an with a maximum armor of 6mm. It had a speed of 40km/hr powered by a 45 PS/1600 rpm Gasoline Engine. However only 167 were made due to the technical defect of poor welding in the hull and its poor armament,only a Type 92 13mm machinegun and a Type 91 6.5mm machinegun. It was involved in Operation Nekka.
