    Ty Andrew Taubenheim (born 17 November 1982 in Bellingham, WA) is a pitcher in Major League Baseball who currently plays for the Toronto Blue Jays. He is 6'5", 200 lbs., and throws and bats right-handed.

    Taubenheim was drafted in the 19th round of the 2003 Amateur Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers. He was acquired from the Brewers along with Lyle Overbay for David Bush, Zach Jackson and Gabe Gross on December 7, 2005.

    Taubenheim made his major league debut with the Blue Jays in 2006, but finished the year 0-5 as a starter. He earned his first win in a relief appearance against the Atlanta Braves on June 22, 2006, pitching just 0.2 innings and allowing one hit but no runs.

    Taubenheim features a 90-mph sinking fastball, a slider and a changeup.
