"Truly Madly Deeply" was a 1997 hit song by Australian rock band Savage Garden. It was actually a remake of an older song of theirs called "Magical Kisses" and was the third single from the album "Savage Garden".

In 1998, the song topped the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart for two weeks and the Adult Contemporary chart for eleven weeks. They were the first Australian artists to top the American Billboard Hot 100 in the ten years since INXS's "Need You Tonight" in 1988.

It had two videos, one quite expensive, but the cheaper is the one widely known. The latter was filmed in Paris (Sacre-Coeur area) because it is said to be the most romantic city in the world. It was directed by Adolfo Doring[1].

They are best remembered for this song, as it is widely considered their signature song.

Truly Madly Deeply was the second single in the UK from the album Everytime We Touch. Although the song is produced by the usual Cascada team (DJ Manian/DJ Yanou) it is not a trance version, but rather a more-direct ballad cover, unlike their usual style. But, there is a trance version of Truly Madly Deeply which is also used as the single version. It was released exclusively in the U.S. iTunes store, and is the third single released in the U.S. The U.S. physical release, however, will be on Tuesday March 13th, 2007.
