Tricia Marwick

Tricia Marwick is the Scottish National Party Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for Mid Scotland and Fife.

She was born on November 5, 1953 and brought up in Fife. She has been MSP for Mid Scotland and Fife since 1999 and contested Central Fife in the 2003, although she narrowly failed to win that particular seat and was re-elected to serve Mid Scotland and Fife through the Additional Members System. She is the SNP candidate for the Central Fife Constituency for the Scottish Parliament elections of May 2007.

She is the vice convener of the SNP Parliamentary Group and as such is a member of the Party's National Executive Committee. Appointed Front Bench Spokesperson on Housing in 2005. She was previously the convener of the Scottish Parliament’s Standards Committee.

She previously worked as Public Affairs Officer for Shelter Scotland, a charity for homeless people.
