Tomorrow.sg is a metablog for Singapore bloggers in the vein of Boing Boing where anyone can submit a post they think worthy of recognition for posting. As long as 2 editors approve the post, it will be published.

It is a rather popular local website with over 700 subscribers to its RSS feed, and even journalists and editors from the state newspapers often visit the metablog to source for articles to include in the national dailies.

The content of Tomorrow.sg, while varied and sometimes controversial, does not readily reflect where its political sympathies lie; the editors maintain that they have no agenda for the site. This is quite unlike Boing Boing which, due to the influences of its editors, is generally held as 'liberal.'

The editors of Tomorrow.sg were chosen because they come from diverse backgrounds, thus ensuring that the contributions being moderated would be subject to the scrutiny of editors with vastly differing tastes and interests. However, it is often noted with some cynicism and incredulity by detractors that the inordinate number of editors - thirteen, currently - presiding over Tomorrow.sg may generate excessive opinions, and thus resulting in conflicts of interests and contributing to redundancies.

Because of the diversity of the editors, from religious to free thinker, conservative to liberal, critics have nevertheless often derided the content at Tomorrow.sg, accusing the editors of submitting and/or approving inane and uninteresting articles pertaining to their own interests and whims. However Tomorrow.sg's popularity continues to grow as is evident from its impressive Technorati Ranking of 1,174.

• La Idler | Idle Days Although La Idler has since died, she remains on the list of Editors At Large.

Tomorrow.sg organized the first ever Singapore Bloggers Convention, named Bloggers.SG on 16th July 2005. The event was held at DXO and was sponsored by SHINE, Microsoft and Lexmark.
