Therdsak Chaiman

Therdsak Chaiman (born September 29, 1973) is a midfielder who used to play for Thailand's national football team but has since retired from international football. He is regarded as one of Southeast Asia's finest footballers. In 2002, he captained his country in the Tiger Cup which they won. He was awarded the Tiger Cup Most Valuable Player Award for his displays in the tournament. He currently plays for the Singapore Armed Forces Football Club in the S.League. Therdsak is a free kick specialist and used to play for BEC Tero Sasana in the Thai League. He led them to the final of the AFC Champions League against Al Ain in 2003 and was named the 2003 AFC Champions League most valuable player. In 2004, he secured a move to Vietnam's East Asia Bank but did not settle well due to a serious groin injury. He promptly rejoined his former club Singapore Armed Forces Football Club in 2005.
