The Stanford Review is a conservative student-run newspaper that serves Stanford University in Stanford, California.[1] It was founded in 1987 by Peter Thiel and Norman Book. It is published and distributed without charge to the Stanford community every week during the academic year.

Several of its former editors – including David O. Sacks and Ken Howery joined with Thiel to start PayPal, the online payments company.[2][3][4]
