The Rotten Stench of Early Days When We Raped Dead Angels is a bootleg album by Cradle of Filth. It is a compilation of three of their earlier demos, namely Invoking The Unclean, The Black Goddess Rises and Orgiastic Pleasures, all recorded in 1992. The cover features pictures of the band from the Midian era, although, apart from Dani Filth, none of those members play on this CD. The inside cover also provides an extract of the lyrics for the song "The Black Goddess Rises", despite its not being included here (the name of the demo notwithstanding). The demos on this album were recorded before the band evolved their music to the symphonic black metal style they are now known for, and their sound is still death metal at this point.
