The Peninsula Manila (or sometimes called, The Manila Peninsula), is one of the elite and well-known hotels in the Philippines. It is located on the corners of Ayala and Makati Avenues, in the heart of Metro Manila's business district.

It is the first Peninsula hotel outside Hong Kong.

Built in 1976, The Peninsula Manila was built to coincide with the hosting of the International Monetary Fund conference in Manila. It was built on the corners of Ayala and Makati Avenues, after which they are named. After undergoing several renovations, The Peninsula reasserted itself as the "Jewel in the Capital's Crown".

Upon the opening, the Peninsula Manila did not need to introduce itself to the public, for it's main counterpart, The Peninsula Hong Kong already had established a name for The Peninsula Hotels decades ago, thus making it the favorite hotel for the high-ranking of the society.

The Pen consists of two wings, which host all 468 rooms and suites. The hotels valet consists of Mercedes-Benz cars which are mostly used by guests to go around the city.

The Peninsula Manila features some of Manila's top restaurants. The Lobby is one of the favorites for its ambiance.

Offers all-day dining, specializing in breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet, with themed buffet nights all week long and family breakfast buffet every Sunday.

  • The Lobby

Offers coffee, tea and some snacks. A favorite for Manila's business and social elite.

  • The Bar

Offers a perfect place for a rendezvous before dinner or a late nightcap, serves as an extension for Mi Piace (see above).

  • Pool Snack Bar

An ideal place for relaxation and offers signature drinks, sandwiches, sherbets and fresh fruit skewers.
