The Parent Trap II is a made-for-TV sequel to The Parent Trap that first screened on The Disney Channel in 1986 and was later released on Disney DVD on a special edition of the original Parent Trap movie.

Nikki Ferris’s mother, Sharon, wants to move to New York. Nikki does not want to go because that would mean losing contact with her friend, Mary Grand. Mary’s father, Bill, is single and so is Nikki’s mother. The two girls try to get their parents together. Bill is interested, but Sharon is not, so the girls get Sharon’s twin, Susan, to act like Sharon and help them out.
