The Greatest Hits is Cher's 2nd European greatest hits album and the follow-up to the 1992 released compilation, Greatest Hits: 1965-1992. The album peaked at #7 on the official UK Albums Chart, and reached the top 10 in several countries across Europe and the rest of the world. This compilation was released only outside North America, due to the release of the North American only compilation, If I Could Turn Back Time: Cher's Greatest Hits which was released that same year.
