The Box is a five-CD/one DVD career-spanning box set by popular American group Chicago and was compiled and released through Rhino Records in 2003. Unlike Group Portrait, which was compiled by Columbia Records in 1991, years after Chicago had left their first label, and which only featured part of their story, The Box was authorized by the band and features their input in choosing material from their entire back catalogue.

A generous survey of Chicago's thirty-five years of music making, The Box touches upon every studio album released by the band since their 1969 debut The Chicago Transit Authority to their late 1990s recordings, with a few rarities, notably three songs from the unreleased 1993 Stone of Sisyphus project.

An additional DVD — the sixth disc — sports rare live recordings from 1972 and promotional material for 1979's Chicago 13. The set also includes a generous booklet. Fans will enjoy the many new variations of the famous Chicago logo, courtesy of the Rhino art department.
