Location of Thamaga in Botswana

Thamaga is a town located in the Kweneng District of Botswana and about 40km west of the capital city Gaborone. The town is dominated by large rock formations and has recently been linked by road to the principal town of Kweneng, Molepolole. the village is second to molepolole in both size and population. one proud resident of thamaga is named Lucky Katisi from motlhabane ward.
