TekWar is the title of a series of science fiction novels by William Shatner which gave rise to a series of TV movies and a series, both of which featured Shatner.

The plot is centered on Tek, an addictive, computerized mind-altering drug. The hero, Jake Cardigan is framed for dealing in the drug four years before the start of the story. Having been sentenced to 15 years imprisonment, he is released early.

TekWar was also a series of TV films and later a TV series. Greg Evigan played Cardigan in the television adaptation. The movies were produced in 1994 and the TV series produced from 1994 to 1996. The series was a Canadian production in association with U.S. studios and aired in the U.S. during Universal Television's Action Pack . It was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. William Shatner appeared on an episode of Monday Night RAW to help promote the television series.

TekWar was made into a 1995 computer game using the Build engine.

There are unsubstantiated rumours that the novels were ghostwritten by Ron Goulart. Speaking on the subject, Shatner has said that although Goulart was involved in the proofreading process of the books and often helped him in re-writing segments, the books were in fact written by Shatner himself from his original outlines.^{[citation needed]}
