Taytay is a 1st class urban municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. It is bounded by Cainta on the north, Pasig City on the west, Antipolo City in the East and Angono on the South. This town is known for its quality ready made dresses and woodowrks, hence the brand "Garments and Woodworks Capital of the Philippines." Its current mayor is Hon. George Ricardo "Joric" Gacula.

According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 198,183 people in 42,620 households.

Taytay is politically subdivided into 5 barangays.
