Swahili Imports, Inc. is an African import wholesale distribution business based in Eugene, Oregon, with an online store for wholesale buyers at swahiliwholesale.com. Founded in 1994 by Leslie Mittelberg, the company specializes in designing and importing contemporary handcrafted African home decor and accessories. Also doing business under the name Swahili, Inc., the company sells directly to the public through retail stores in Eugene and Portland, Oregon, and via an online store, swahili-imports.com.

Swahili Imports expanded its operations in 2004 by opening the retail store in Eugene, Oregon, and by rebuilding its two online stores, swahiliwholesale.com and swahili-imports.com. The second store in Portland, Oregon, followed in 2005. Offering Swahili Imports merchandise and one-of-a-kind African fine art and artifacts, the stores also sponsor and promote local African-oriented organizations and events.

Swahili Imports currently works in the African nations of Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Tanzania, Mozambique, Mali, Madagascar and Uganda.
