Stella is an English language comedy to be directed by Dilip Mehta. The film will feature Madhavan, Brendan Fraser and Vidya Balan in principal roles, with Balan essaying the role of a nanny. A. R. Rahman will be scoring the music for the film. Deepa Mehta, the director's sister, wrote the screenplay. Media reports have stated that the film will begin rolling in September 2007 with a release date yet to be announced. The film will be Mr. Mehta's directorial debut.
