Stade Josy Barthel

Stade Josy Barthel is the national stadium of Luxembourg, home to the Luxembourg national football team and also used for athletics. It is located in route d'Arlon, in the city of Luxembourg. It was first constructed in 1928 and it was entirely restructured in 1990. From July 1993 it bears the name of the 1500m gold medallist at the 1952 Olympics. The stadium is also home to the biggest athletics club in the country, C.S. Luxembourg. The spectator capacity is 8,054, some under cover, some in the open air.
