SportPlus is XM Satellite Radio's French language sports channel, located on XM channel 172. SportPlus is also the home for french play-by-by of the NHL, QUFL, & USL. In addition, this channel covers hourly news updates about the state of the economy, health and other issues in Canada.

On August 11, 2006, XM signed controversial shock jock Jeff Fillion, formerly involved in the CHOI-FM license renewal controversy, to host a daily morning program on SportPlus.

A format change for XM 172 is slated for 2007-04-06. Early indications are that Fillion's show and french NHL play-by-play will continue, but the remainder of the programming grid is slated to change. Currently, the change calls for a 4 hour looped repeat of Fillion's show on XM 172. The new name for the channel will be Radio Parallèle.
