Threat appears courtesy of Da Bomb Records. He was born Corey Lloyd Brown and participated on some major classic records (such as Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. and Death Certificate ). He runs a hip hop collective LA ZU consisting of Threat, Major, Phiz, Tee-Lee, Herculez, Mac Doe, Norman Bates, Drastic, 3rd Degree and Classik. After collaborating with Snoop they didn't drop a major release for years (Threat had some solo efforts as of 1993-97) until coming back in 2006 with a new single featuring Snoop Dogg "Wut it do".

Although this CD was released in 2001, it only featured songs that Snoop had recorded during his Death Row era. Therefore, no of the songs from his No Limit releases, "Da game is to be sold," "No Limit Top Dogg," or "Da Last Meal" were included on this album, even though they were released before this one.
