The Sleeping is a post-hardcore/alternative rock band from Long Island, New York. Cameron Keym, Sal Mignanio, and Joe Zizzo formed the band in 2003 from the remains of Skycamefalling, after auditioning twenty-two potential singers, they came across Doug Robinson former singer/guitarist of the band Stillwelle. They have released two albums, their first album "Believe What We Tell You" in 2004, and "Questions and Answers" in 2006. They were featured on the Nintendo Fusion Tour along with Plain White T's, Relient K, Emery, and Hawthorne Heights. They also toured the UK on the Victory Records Tour with theAudition, Bayside and Aiden. They will be touring in January of 2007 with Senses Fail among others. Their music has been featured in video games including Madden NFL 07, which had their song "Don't Hold Back", and Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam.
