"Shine More" is Namie Amuro's 22nd solo single under the Avex Trax label following her stint with R&B project, Suite Chic. Although she has released R&B music in the past, this single marks her transition from a pop artist to an R&B artist.

The music video for "shine more" features Namie in two rooms. One room features blue-glass tanks and a section of the room that is all white and black. The second room features Namie in the same all-white room sitting on a bed. In the first room, Namie wears a black tank-top with a confetti-like, black miniskirt and black platform boots. In the second room, Namie wears a skirt similar to the black expect it is pink. Her top has an opening in the middle of the chest and is pink also. A few scenes also feature Namie standing on a black, marble pathway.
