From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eagle Seagull are an indie rock band from Lincoln, Nebraska.

Formed in early 2004 in the midwest college town of Lincoln, NE, Eagle Seagull were an immediate buzz in the independent Nebraska music scene and began recording their record in November of 2004 - a task that continued off and on for the next eight months. Released in October of 2005, it was hailed by many critics as one of the best albums of that year and garnered considerable national and international attention. In 2006, the band signed to Lado, based in Hamburg, who released the album in Europe in August of 2006. They are best known for their single "Photograph", which charted at #2 in the Austrian Indie Charts. Their album reached #8 on the same chart. In January and February of 2007, Eagle Seagull completed their first major European tour.

Their second album is scheduled for a 2007 release.
