Scandiano is a town in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, administratively part of the province of Reggio Emilia. It has 23,332 inhabitants as of December 31, 2004.

It is the native town of incumbent Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi. Other notable natives of Scandiano are poet Matteo Maria Boiardo and biologist Lazzaro Spallanzani.
