Sara Taylor

Sara Marie Taylor (born September 15, 1974) is Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Political Affairs at the White House, making her one of George W. Bush's top political aides. She currently reports to Karl Rove. (source)
Taylor is the daughter of Ray Taylor, a former Iowa state representative.
She is a graduate of Drake University.
During her time at Drake, Taylor held the position of National Co-Chairman of the College Republicans.
Taylor played a major role in both Bush presidential victories and is now poised to have a hand in a variety of major Senate and gubernatorial races in 2006.
In the wake of the Purgegate scandal, it was reported in late March, 2007, that Taylor would be stepping down from her position with Karl Rove and that she could be subpoenaed to speak before congress.
