Samuel Dinsmoor, Jr.

Samuel Dinsmoor, Jr. (May 8, 1799February 24, 1869) was an American lawyer, banker and politician from Keene, New Hampshire. His father, Samuel Dinsmoor, had been governor in 1834, and in 1849 the younger Samuel followed him. He was elected as a Democratic candidate to three one-year terms as governor of New Hampshire in 1849, 1850 and 1851.

From 1835 until his death Dinsmoor was President of the Ashuelot Bank in Keene.
