Roosevelt Junior-Senior High School, as it is known today, was established in 1956, with history dating back to the mid 1800s. It is located in the hamlet of Roosevelt, New York.
Notable Roosevelt Junior-Senior High School alumni include:
- Busta Rhymes, hip hop musician, head of the Flipmode Squad musical collective.
- Chuck D, political activist and member of the hip hop group Public Enemy.
- Eddie Murphy, comedian and actor. [1]
