Contents

An ancient evil, perhaps older than time itself, is stirring deep within the heart of the Himalayas, about to finish what it started when the TARDIS appears. The Fifth Doctor and his companions are here, apparently for the Doctor to take in a game of cricket; but is he the final piece of the puzzle?

  1. "The Roof of the World" was the title of the first episode of First Doctor serial Marco Polo. It has occasionally been applied to the entire story as well, following its use in the Radio Times Tenth Anniversary Special.
