Roadside Prophets is a 1992 film written and directed by Abbe Wool, featuring musicians John Doe of the seminal L.A. punk band X, and Adam Horovitz of the Beastie Boys, with numerous cameo appearances by, amongst others, Timothy Leary, Arlo Guthrie, Dick Rude, David Carradine, an uncharacteristic performance by John Cusack as Casper, a self-styled "Symbionese" rebel, and a very early film performance by Don Cheadle.

Its tagline is: "They weren't born to be wild. It just turned out that way."
