Rehab is an American Rap/Rock/Dirty South group forming in the late 1990s in Atlanta, Georgia. Rehab has released two major albums so far; four other discs are also in existence.

Rehab's music is a mixture of southern rock, dirty south rap, reggae, alternative and the popular 90s rap/rock style (made famous by bands such as Limp Bizkit). Three pressed albums have been released: "To Whom It May Consume" (1999), "Southern Discomfort" (2000), "Cuz We Can" (2002), and "Graffiti the World" (2005). Previously obtainable only online, It became available on CD in the early months of 2007. Following the release, Rehab had this to say, "Although this may not have been officially what the label intended to put out, it’s the best work we could find and put together as a comprehensive volume to give to the fans."

Rehab was originally formed as a trio: Denny Campbell AKA Steaknife, Danny Alexander, and Brooks Buford. Early on, they released their first album "To Whom It May Consume" produced by Steaknife and Brooks Buford. Soon after, Epic/Sony offered a record deal.

Rehab's major label debut, Southern Discomfort, hit stores in October of 2000. With band members Danny Alexander and Brooks, hailing from the city of Warner Robins, south of Macon, Georgia. Their debut album starts with a skit of them breaking out of a rehabilitation facility. The album went on to sell over 140,000 units, and produce such hits as "Sittin' At A Bar", "It Don't Matter"(Modern Rock Top 20), "Rattle My Cage", and feature such guests as Cee-Lo, Goodie Mob, Steaknife, and Cody Chestnutt.

After 2 years on the road supporting the Vans Warped Tour and playing with bands such as Linkin Park, Danny called it quits over a difference in creative view points.

Part of Danny "Boone's" appeal to his greatest fans is his love for his home town and regular reminders of it on both his apparel, fore arm tattoos and mentions during many different lyrics of the groups music.

"That's where I grew up and I've lived there most of my life," Boone says. "I always wanted to represent Warner Robins, but I didn't know how because nobody really cared."

When asked About how the group came up with the name "Rehab" Danny is quoted as saying "You know we all went through some really bad times in our lives as a group and individually, Some of us didn't make some really wise decisions and got into some pretty bad stuff. We had to go into rehab to get straightened back out and I got to thinking, since i'm sure we're not the only ones in this situation and just so people who have been through what we have can relate to it, That's the name we picked, Rehab." "not that we advocate or encourage anyone using anything but for those who do... you know maybe we can be a positive influence some how cause we've been there."

In August of 2005 Rehab re-emerged with a new album "Graffiti the World". The new Rehab was brought together by original band member Danny Alexander. Joining him were longtime musicians Mike Hartnett-lead guitar, Hano Leathers- Bass, Chris Hood-Drums,Foz-Rhythm Guitar, and Dj Chris Crisis-Musical effects. An additional and unofficial member of the group, though, by the name of Demun Jones often steps in to perform the raps that Brooks once sang. The seven put together new tracks and re-worked old classics with help from local Atlanta producer Billy Hume.

Graffiti the World features the hits "What Do you Want From Me", "Graffiti The World","Last Tatoo" and "This Town" (a virtual musical tour of the groups hometown beginning in the 80's). Rehab is currently on tour in the USA and Canada selling out every event they play in. The 2007 tour ends December 8th in Seminole Florida, then its back to their home state of Georgia for a well deserved rest.

Brooks Buford after the group's initial seperation, went on to record several projects, Straight Outta Rehab, which was never released due to Artista going out of business. He is currently working on a follow-up album titled "Suspicious Package" as well as a side project with Ashley Alan-Lee and Tommy Henriksen called The Audio Club.

In late 2005, Brooks went on to host the MTV series Trailer Fabulous and in 2006 the MTV International series "Bustamove".

Denny "Steaknife" Campbell was scheduled to release a CD under Priority Records but was later dropped from the label. Denny has stated that he wasn't very fond of these tracks. He has released an album with friend Lindsay Few titled "Trouble The Water" which is highly religion based. Denny is currently in the studio recording his first full length studio album tentatively titled "White Noize".
