Rechytsa (Belarusian: Рэчыца, IPA: ['rɛtʂɨtsa]; Russian: Речица) is a town in the Homiel Province of Belarus. It is center of Rechytsa district. City is situated at the mouth of Rechytsa river, flowing into Dnieper. The population is near 70,000.

Rechitsa is also the name of a Village in the near Kovel, Ukraine where Belarusian Matviy Prokopovich Kozubchik 1888-1953 (Mike Zuchick, Sr) came from around 1907. Matviy was one of many Eastern Europeans recruited by American Coal Companies to come to the Southern West Virginia Coalfields to work in the mines there. Like many who came to work mines all over the United States, left their homes as mere boys never to see their families again.

Rechytsa was first documented in 1213.

The coat of arms of Rechytsa is based on the Pahonia symbol.
