Rebecca Herbst

Rebecca Herbst (born May 12, 1977 in Encino, California) is an American actress. At the age of six Rebecca told her mother that she wanted to be on television so that she could play with the toys. Since then she has appeared in over 60 national commercials. She has guest-starred in many television series, including Highway to Heaven, L.A. Law, Beverly Hills 90210, Step By Step, Boy Meets World, Sister, Sister and Days of Our Lives, and guest-starred in the recurring role of Kristen on Brotherly Love. She also starred with Jaclyn Smith in the television movie Kaleidoscope. Rebecca played Suzee, a series regular on cable's Space Cases. She was featured with Christopher Lloyd in the feature film Why Me? and has also starred in various educational videos. Most recently she co-starred in the unauthorized biography of Hugh Hefner where she played Barbi Benton.

Herbst is best known for her role of Nurse Elizabeth Webber on the ABC soap opera, General Hospital, a role she originated on August 1, 1997. While originally misguided and mischievous, Elizabeth has become one of the soap's most beloved heroines.

Herbst has been married to former General Hospital co-star Michael Saucedo (ex-Juan) since June 2001. They have two children, Ethan and Ella Bailey. She is of no relation to GH co-star Rick Hearst, whose birth name is Richard Charles Herbst.
