Rayners Lane is a place in the London Borough of Harrow.

It is situated on Rayners Lane which runs from Eastcote Lane in South Harrow to Marsh Lane in Pinner.

The area was built up in the 1920s & 1930's on land originally owned by the Rayner family, local farmers. The area is most widely known for Rayners Lane tube station and most of the settlement is built around the tube station. The area North of the station was originally named Harrow Garden Village by its developer and was one of Metro-land's flagship points. The station links both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines and therefore has good connections with the rest of London.

The area also has its own football club, Rayners Lane F.C. who currently play in the Hellenic league.

Rayners Lane is also home to the headquarters of Ladbrokes, one of Britain's biggest gambling companies. It was also the filming set for the BBC2 programme Eyes Down as the setting of the Rio bingo hall.

Despite being a relatively small area, the area has many good retail chains, mainly due to the presence of the tube station. Chains include a Sainsbury's, a Tesco, Woolworths, Subway and KFC.

The area is notorious for the biggest council estate in the borough of Harrow. While the overall crime rate in Harrow borough is amongst the lowest in Greater London, the Rayners Lane Estate has a significant rate of crime and anti-social behaviour.
