Ramones Mania is the first Ramones compilation. It includes 30 Ramones songs, including some single versions, namely "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker", "Needles & Pins", and "Howling at the Moon"; a B–side, "Indian Giver"; and one previously unissued song version, the stereo movie mix of "Rock 'n' Roll High School".

The album contains a 50-page booklet with a little history about the Ramones, including the release dates of all their albums. This is their best selling album; it is the only Ramones album to be certified Gold in USA.
