Ralph Waldo Emerson Middle School is a middle school in the Los Angeles Unified School District in Los Angeles, California.

The school offers a variety of special academic programs, each unique. They include the Mathematics Engineering Science Academic program (MESA), the School for Advanced Studies (SAS), and the Individualized Honors Program(IHP).

Only two schools in the district offer IHP, the other being Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood.

The school was named in honor of Ralph Waldo Emerson, the American author, poet, and philosopher.
