RANGER is a tactical UAV system (TUAV) for a wide range of civilian and military missions. Due to an easily changeable payload, the system can be adapted to match perfectly the individual requirements of a user.

For maximum tactical performance the RANGER UAV uses a compact hydraulic launcher for take off. The unique SKID landing system enables the UAV to land nearly anywhere, on grass or on concrete runways, on snow or ice.

RANGER is the only tactical UAV system worldwide which is certified to fly in civilian airspace as well as over populated areas.

The RANGER system is in service with the Swiss Air Force as well as with the Finnish Defence Forces (FDF).

RUAG Aerospace in Switzerland is the manufacturer of the RANGER UAV system.
