Priest Maxi (also known as Father Maxi) is a fictional character in the popular adult cartoon, South Park. He is voiced by Matt Stone.

Priest Maxi is a Catholic priest who serves as the mouthpiece for South Park's Christian community. His personality seems somewhat flexible based on the needs of the show; often he is a narrow-minded and intolerant man who is convinced most people are going to be damned to Hell, often for trivial offenses. In one episode he bluntly claimed that Timmy would go to Hell, since Timmy cannot confess his sins, as he cannot speak anything fluently. However, he is sometimes less of a fundamentalist, as in "Red Hot Catholic Love" (see below). In either personality he is portrayed as being less than celibate (see "Relationships").

While he doesn't have a major role, he appears in "Damien" in the bar blaming everyone else for betting on Satan, to later be caught by Jesus for betting also.

Priest Maxi claims he will be able to convert Big Gay Al to being straight but it is revealed he made a similar claim about a man called "Peterson" who Priest Maxi himself ended up having sex with.

Despite his character flaws, it was Priest Maxi who, in the episode Red Hot Catholic Love, unearthed the massive corruption behind the many church-related sexual assaults. He also forced the Catholic Church to stop letting priests molest young boys, even though he performed fornication in a confession booth himself.

In the episode Cartman Sucks, Priest Maxi meets with Butters Stotch and his father after Stephen happens upon his son inadvertently committing a homosexual act. Priest Maxi decides that Butters is "confused" and must be sent to a special camp to become completely straight through the power of Jesus Christ. The rest of the episode focuses on the events that transpire after Butter goes to the camp.

Though as a priest Maxi is supposed to be celibate, he does not seem to regularly practice this. Like most of the adults in South Park, he has had sex with Mrs. Cartman at some point in his life ("Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut"), and was once caught having sex with a woman named Mrs. Donovan (who may be related to Clyde Donovan) in "Do the Handicapped Go to Hell?" In "Cripple Fight" he admitted to having once been homosexual but claims to be reformed; however he apparently once had a relationship with a man named Peterson whom he was supposed to be reforming of homosexuality. In "Red Hot Catholic Love" he pushes for a reformation of the celibacy rules as a way to stop priest pedophilia.

Much like Principal Victoria, his inverted name is a reference to singer Maxi Priest.
Like many men in South Park, he is a great fan of the Denver Broncos going as far as including a Broncos chant in his sermons.
In Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut it is shown or at least implied that he has had sex with Mrs. Cartman.
