"Landslide" is a cover of the song written by Stevie Nicks and originally recorded on Fleetwood Mac.

"Girl Named Sandoz" is a reference to Sandoz Laboratories, where LSD was invented. It was originally performed by The Animals. This cover was performed as part of their Peel Sessions.

A very rare bonus single was released in conjunction with Pisces Iscariot. This was a free vinyl single included with the purchases of this album.

  1. "Not Worth Asking"
  2. "Honey Spider II" (from the Moon demos)

While Pisces Iscariot is a good starting point for stray tracks from this period of the band's career, The Smashing Pumpkins have always been prolific, and several b-sides and other commercially released songs from this era were not included on this compilation. These are:

  • "Apathy's Last Kiss", Siamese Dream outtake, b-side to Today
  • "Bye June" – 2:09, Lull EP.
  • "Bullet Train to Osaka" (Corgan) (instrumental) 4:16, b-side to I Am one.
  • "Dancing in the Moonlight" (Thin Lizzy), Disarm B-Side
  • "Daughter", a seven inch vinyl single from 1992 released in the US.
  • "French Movie Theme" (Corgan), Siamese Dream outtake, B-Side to Cherub Rock
  • "Glynis" (later appeared on the No Alternative compilation)
  • "Honeyspider", Tristessa b-side
  • "I Am One" (Corgan/Iha), the original Sub Pop recording, which differs from the Gish version.
  • "My Dahlia", the first of two songs from the compliation Light Into Dark, These two songs are the first released music by the band.
  • "Never Let Me Down" (Gore), Depeche Mode cover, b-side to Rocket
  • "Not Worth Asking" (Corgan), B-Side to Sub Pop single
  • "Purr Snickety", Cherub Rock B-side
  • "Siamese Dream" (Corgan), Siamese Dream outtake, B-Side to Disarm
  • "Siva" 4:53, the Peel EP version
  • "Slunk" – 2:49, Lull EP.
  • "Smiley", a Peel EP song.
  • "Star Spangled Banner" (unlisted) (Traditional), a drunken karaoke version, b-side to Cherub Rock
  • "Sun", the second Light Into Dark track.
  • "Terrapin" (Syd Barrett) 2:54, additional b-side to I am One.
  • "Tristessa", Sub Pop version.

  • The covers of the CD, LP, and Cassette releases are totally different. The U.S. Vinyl release was pressed on amber vinyl, and the first 2000 copies included a bonus 7" single (also on amber vinyl) with 'Not Worth Asking' from the original I Am One 7" backed with 'Honeyspider II'.
  • The UK 12" has identical artwork to its U.S. counterpart, although the printing is much lighter and the inner sleeve is a heavier stock.
  • The green, blurred cover of the CD release led to speculation about who the photograph was of. Courtney Love insists that it is her with a cherry in her mouth, but fans suggest it is either James Iha or Billy Corgan's then-time wife Chris Fabian.
  • The title is in reference to Judas Iscariot and to Billy Corgan's starsign, Pisces.
