Paranormal? is a 2005 National Geographic Channel television show, in the genre of paranormal television. It was first shown in the UK in July 2005.
A fairly scientific look at a particular are of the paranormal each week, accompanied with interviews with witnesses and experts, believers and sceptics. Some experiments are conducted and briefly outlined on the show, which is mildly sceptical in tone, and finds little evidence for the paranormal claims. Each show last one hour.
The ace soundtracks are written and recorded by London-based television composers, Mollusc Music.
- Episode 1: The Sasquatch — an examination of the Bigfoot legend and the controversial Patterson-Gimlin film.
- Episode 2: Psychic Detectives — the claims of psychic detectives are examined and evidence found wanting. Features skeptic Joe Nickell, parapsychologist Ciaran O'Keeffe and others including a psychic medium.
- Episode 3: Lake Monsters — an examination of Lake Monsters and the famous Surgeon's Photo of the Loch Ness Monster.
