The Otobreda 127mm/54 Compact (127/54C) gun is a naval artillery piece built by the Italian company Oto Melara. The gun is completely new but uses the same semi fixed amunition as the American 5 inch/ 54 gun. It was introduced into service in 1968. A new advanced lightweight mounting for corvettes has been developed. The barrel is water cooled.
The Otobreda 127/54 Compact is used on the following ships:

- F125 class frigate (German Navy, ordered)

- Maestrale class frigate (Italian Navy)
- MEKO 360 frigates, Argentina and Nigeria
- Takanami class destroyer, Japan
