From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Orphic, Inc. A company in the video game, movie, computer graphic, and podcasting industries. As described by Orphic's Operation Manager in one of Orphic's original podcasts (Nothing Better To Do), "Orphic, Inc's a random company Kai decided to start because he was bored one day. He decided Orphic because it rolled off the tongue, and people think it's funny. People at school thinks he's a billionaire because he owns a company. It is a very interesting place. BUY STUFF!"

-> Humble Beginnings Orphic beagn life as a small ProBoard forum that was half premade, and half created by Kai himself. It was created a month before official establishment of the site, at which the time Kai hired a couple of 'Beta testers' or so he called them. There were about half a dozen, notably Langford and Duncanyoyo1, who would share more of their lives' with Orphic. Another notable beta tester Onikins, hailing from Onishisou Designs, which he gave to his secondary Administrator in 2005. The only further history Onikins has at Orphic is he is said to be making a web site for Orphic, and will be out soon. The exact date of establishment of site was December 3rd, 2006. The staff at that date was the President of Proje[k]t FuZion (now called Proje[k]t FuZion Studios), Duncanyoyo1, the same subsidiary's VP, Darkwolf, and Bobtentpeg as Assistant Cheif Executive Officer. Leaving Kai as CEO and Administrator. Kai was also the founder of Orphic. Within weeks of opening members poured in from Kai advertising at school and on several other forums. The staff then included Langford as Head Host of iTell Productions, Fines as Head Designer of then Chaos Xero, and several other designers and programmers. The following month Kai named dragonbgone as his "'Secretary of Site' but basically he's just an administrator (laughs)". He also named Christiankitty as a Global Moderator. This month there have been a name change to Orphic, Inc. Proje[k]t FuZion's change was only minor, it's name is now Proje[k]t FuZion Studios.

PFS's Devolpment Team for PSP has been quite busy lately. Mostly working on themes and an OS 'Shell', they have realesed the PFS's PS3 Theme, created by Kai, Darkwolf and DuncanYoYo1. Zeldakidwii has also released a Wii Theme for Orphic. Kai recently stated he would work on a theme pack which will include a PS3, XboX 360, and Wii theme for PSP.

Also in order is Orphic, Inc's Labs. It is supposedly in development, and will include all major video and audio codecs, such as .AVI. Kai has nothing to comment on this creation.

Several short films have been released under this name. Here is a list of movies by producer:

Dragonbgone- How to be a Ninja- a hybrid comedy/informative/action film on how to be a ninja, obviously Orphic, Inc Advertisment- a somewhat wierd way of persuasive drama

Kai- Sadie Hawkins Dance AirSync'd- a film Kai made for his church. This video is concidered a flop by some, but his family and friends thought is was rather funny. How to be a Nerd- a comedy and informative way on becoming a nerd. How to Rap- another flop. Kai comments "I do it way better live. Plus I don't have to bleep out stuff in real life."

'The only works this division has brought out was a flyer for Orphic, an avatar line called Terra Icognita Aliens, and the Life Sucks sigs. All concidered flops. Kai comments that the forums current skin is not of Chaos Xero, and says it's his own. Several negative comments followed. Kai recently participated in an IM conversation with 'Crazy' and the have agreed to do a collaberation revamping of the design of the board

Here are a list of podcasts by iTell

Nothing Better To Do- several have been recorded, but only one has been released. Kai says, "They just aren't as good as the first, I don't want to release something that sucks" Tech|Edit- several recorded, one of which was released. Kai is waiting to get the internet before doing another one. "I can't talk about tech that has been out for several months like it just came out, people will say I already know about that! Except maybe the Zune...(laughs)" WiiStation3- several aired before Orphic was even conceived. One was made on launch date (Langford's first podcast) (this podcast is about the Wii, and PlayStation 3) X-Station Twii- A spinoff of WiiStation 3, still in the works. Apple|Edit- another like Tech|Edit, except more Apple-based. Only one has been recorded and released, same reasons as Tech|Edit (see above).

Orphic had a bit of a problem with a "huge spammer going around posting Torrent sites like Pirate Bay and Torrent Spy". Bobtentpeg banned him, and his IP Adress imeadiatly.
