Order of St. Benedict (Anglican)

The Order of St. Benedict (OSB) is a contemplative Anglican religious order of religious living in communities under the Rule of St. Benedict. Most of the communities include a confraternity of oblates. The order consists of ten independent houses:

  • OSB Phoenix, Arizona (Servants of Christ Priory). A priory of monks founded in 1968.
  • OSB Three Rivers, Michigan (St. Gregory's Abbey). A community of monks founded in 1939.
  • OSB Donnellson, Iowa (Abbey of Saint Benedict, Companions of Saint Luke). A mixed sex community with members living in a variety of permanent missions, including married life. The Abbot is an invited guest of the Abbot Primate of Rome's Conference of Bishops.
  • OSB United Episcopal Church of North America. Non-communal order admitting males and females over the age of 21.
  • OHC West Park, New York Order of the Holy Cross. A Benedictine monastic order for men with houses in the U.S., Canada, and South Africa
