The theme song that opens every show is an excerpt from the song "Much Worse," performed by Big Audio Dynamite with Don Letts on vocals. The entire original song was played at the beginning of the second part of the May 12, 2004 show (link here).
During the time leading up to the millennium the show also used the song "Little Neutrino," performed by Klaatu for a segment on issues surrounding the Year 2000 problem.
