Image:Ltspkr.pngNunspeet is a municipality and a town in the center Netherlands. Agricultural sites from prehistoric times. It contains some subvillages, like Oosteinde, Westeinde, Hulshorst, Elspeet, Vierhouten and Hoophuizen. Hoophuizen was often the victim of inundations, and definitively vanished in 1916, when a big flood destroyed the last remaining farms. Nunspeet has a vivid historical foundation, called Nuwenspete (see [1]). The village is beloved by tourists, because it is surrounded by woods, vacation resorts, and has a pleasant town center located around the main market square.

Nunspeet has a lot of water-recreation. Nunspeet lies next to the Veluwemeer (Veluwe lake) But there is also a small lake called "de Zandenplas", where a lot of tourists celebrate their vacation. Other things in Nunspeet that tourists appreciate are the surrounding woods, vacation resorts, and the old town center. The weekly market and the official townfest, De nacht van Nunspeet (The night of Nunspeet) and the Eibertjesmarkt (Eibertjesmarket) are also popular among tourists.
