The Grade School Sector first opened in 1963 with only one building around the original 5.6 hectare campus before the neighboring St. Mary's Acamdemy of Caloocan City, a former all-girls school, administered by the RVM sisters, acquired the 2.1 hectare part of the lot. The High School Sector followed in 1965. From a student population of only 266 students and having only one building and courses from Kinder 1 to Grade 5, the school now has 10 buildings, the Grade School Main Building, Grade School Annex, High School Main Building, High School Sience and Technology Building, the DMSTC Building for the school's vocational students, the Gymnasium, High School Canteen, the Kinder School Building, the air-conditioned School Chapel and the Campus General Services Office.
The school was given its first PAASCU accreditation in 1976 for Grade School and 1979 for High School. It was given level 2, 5-year re-accreditation status since 1996.
