Norwegian Jewel is a cruise ship operated by Norwegian Cruise Line. She entered service in August, 2005. She was constructed at Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.

The Norwegian Jewel was featured in an episode of The Apprentice in which candidates were required to use interior and exterior shots of the ship to create a 30-second commercial. [1]

Norwegian Jewel is NCL's third SuperStar class vessel. She was preceded by Norwegian Star, and Norwegian Dawn. She was followed in 2006 by Pride of Hawaii and Norwegian Pearl. The last vessel of this design, Norwegian Gem is expected to enter service in 2007. Each SuperStar class vessel has a similar outward appearance, but is unique in terms of accommodations.

  • Staterooms modeled after those found aboard Norwegian Star and Norwegian Dawn - including the addition of 10 penthouse suites.
  • A large number of staterooms in most categories that can interconnect.
  • The state-of-the-art Bora Bora Health Spa.
  • Splashdown Kids Club, Sapphire Kids Pool and Underground Teens Club.

Norwegian Jewel currently spends warmer months cruising the Mediterranean on a variety of itineraries. In the fall she currently sails various Caribbean itineraries departing from Miami.
