The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee is appointed by the House of Commons to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Northern Ireland Office.

Contents

The committee consists of 13 Members of Parliament. Members are nominated by the House of Commons at the beginning of each Parliamentary session for the duration of that parliament. The membership reflects the strengths of parties in the parliament as a whole. The Committee appoints one of its number as Chairman.[1]
