Newsweb Corporation (also WCPT or WKIE or WDEK or WRZA)is a commercial printer specializing in foreign language and alternative newspapers. Newsweb was founded in 1971 by Chicago entrepreneur, political activist, and philanthropist Fred Eychaner. The company also owns a television station in Denver and several radio stations in Chicago. In 2004, the company purchased three suburban Chicago radio stations from Spanish Broadcasting System. Those stations are now Nine-FM "We Play Anything" WDEK/WKIE/WRZA-FM 92.5/92.7/99.9 Variety hits. Also owned by Newsweb Corporation is an Air America affiliate, low power daytimer WCPT-AM 850 Chicago's Progressive talk.
